It's a disaspace 3

So I finally finished Dead Space 3. Overall I would say I enjoyed it, whilst it is nowhere near as scary as the first game, I would say it far surpasses the second. With Isaac now headed to the Ice planet of Volar something something, the different environments give the game the fresh feel that the second forgot to. The main problem I had though, was that to replace the terrifying corridors of the first, now the giant open blizzards have been inundated with monsters that simply sprint into your personal space. It isn't scary, its just very annoying.
I've read that people complained a lot about the weapon modifications, but it didn't bother me. I just see it as a step in the right direction, giving players even more chance to make their playing experience their own. I understand that people are annoyed that the ammo has become a singular type throughout all guns, the thought that you must always save ammo for the best guns to use on the toughest enemies definitely added tension, but over the past few years, I've noticed that my attitude to games has changed. Where once I would play to challenge myself, now I play for story, and the quicker I can experience it, the better. I know I'm in the minority of gamers with this, but for this reason, I shunned the harder modes and relished the singular ammo types.
Overall, I enjoyed Dead Space 3, and I look forward to seeing where the franchise goes next. But if you are playing games for the challenge, be prepared to find a much more relaxed experience with this.

Last night I watched a small film called "It's a disaster". When four couples meet up for their weekly couples brunch,  the group discover that a group of dirty bombs have been detonated in the city. I won't spoil anything, but if you like black comedy, then you should certainly give this a watch.

Aaaaand...

I know this is a potential overload of stuff to a blog that has been inactive for almost a year, but I'd rather get all the stuff I've done up on the site instead of staggering it over the next few days/weeks and therefore rid myself of a reason to work on more stuff sooner.
SO here goes.
First here is my good friend Nick aka "the Womble"

Next we have a piece of work I submitted for my Masters in Creative Writing.

Third we have my remastered title art.

And finally I did a drawing of all my friends as comic book heroes and villians

comic time

I planned this back in the day, and now that I have actually completed a few, I will try and post them up here also.
So here are the first two, entitled "living with hannah"

And the second.

The plan with these is to keep me constantly working. I've spent far too much time over the past few years not working myself to the full potential. And now with the graphic novel on the way, I can't see any other reason to not get comicing.

At last...

I have returned. Many moons ago when I last posted, I forgot which email address I used and which password I had assigned to the website, but finally I have returned!
So, what's new internet? I hear this Gangnam Style thing is hip?
I jest.
Anyway, after an interesting discussion with a popular blogger, I have decided to give this whole thing a real go, I may get nowhere with it, but at least it gives me a real place to be honest and rant care free.
So to anyone out there that is willing to lend me your ears (well eyes really) then I hope to not disappoint!
toodles
